Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Physical Therapist at AUM Physical Therapy & Yoga Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care programs to restore or maintain function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, surgery or injury. You will also be responsible for performing hands-on treatment, documenting patient progress, instructing patients and families on therapeutic exercises and procedures to be continued at home, staff supervision, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and implement patient care programs.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
  • Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California or PTLA
  • CPR certification
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, and therapeutic exercise
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families and team of coworkers
  • Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation is preferred
