In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation, review, and issuance of life insurance and annuity policies for a range of different products. This position ensures all documentation, rates, and data are verified as accurate prior to policy mailing and maintains compliance with company and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting tight deadlines.
This position requires being on-site at the Investors Heritage home office in Frankfort, Kentucky.
Job Duties
- Review and process daily policy issuances, ensuring all documents are complete and accurate prior to mailing.
- Verify all rates, data entry, and documentation for accuracy before policies are printed and activated.
- Complete and maintain all transmittals, amendments, and issue logs as required.
- Monitor and follow up on held policies (licensing, actuarial review, refunds, etc.) within 24–48 hours.
- Process miscellaneous requests related to Policy Service, Claims, and Third-Party Administrators (TPA) promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with the Actuarial team for sign-offs, testing of new plan codes, rates, and product implementations within established deadlines.
- Maintain a high standard of quality, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight turnaround times - most workloads are expected to be processed by the end of the same business day, or at the latest, the next business day.

Job Requirements
Experience processing policy applications, changes, or transactions across multiple lines of business and systems.Comfortable assisting clients by phone and providing clear, accurate information.2-years of college level studies or at least 2-years working in an office or administrative settingTech-savvy with the ability to learn and navigate various systems and databases quickly.Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all policy processing activities.Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - able to interact clearly and professionally with colleagues, clients, and other departments.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision; self-motivated with a strong work ethic.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and contribute effectively in a team-oriented environment.
