Senior Executive Consultant

Overview

Join our dynamic Strategic Consulting Practice as a Senior Executive Consultant . In this pivotal role, you will utilize your extensive biostatistics expertise to enhance Cytel's reputation for innovative leadership in the industry. You will lead engagements with pharmaceutical, biotech, and device clients, fostering and maintaining successful long-term relationships alongside Cytel's business developers and account management teams.

We seek leaders with a robust foundation in statistics and broad expertise in areas such as adaptive designs, clinical development, data science, and model-informed drug development. Your strategic guidance will help define optimal regulatory, clinical, and market access pathways, accelerating patient access to advanced health technologies.

Responsibilities

Drive business development and account management, overseeing a substantial client portfolio. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Cytel's business units by addressing emerging customer needs with effective solutions to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

Serve as a recognized thought leader and strategic advisor, focusing on optimal regulatory and clinical pathways, as well as quantitative strategies to expedite patient access to health technologies. Lead the development of new methodologies and ensure wide dissemination through conferences, webinars, and publications.

Take comprehensive responsibility for assigned accounts and projects as the primary contact for clients in Strategic Consulting engagements. Cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships and effectively address client needs.

Act as a subject matter expert for specific accounts, collaborating with other consultants and associates to represent Cytel's interests effectively.

Engage in regular travel, interfacing with senior management and executives in existing and prospective client organizations to establish and leverage strong business relationships.

Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of customer decision-making processes, adeptly capturing transformational opportunities. Utilize strong interpersonal skills to gain respect and influence among team members, board members, and clients.

Possess thorough knowledge of the biopharmaceutical R&D process, complemented by solid business understanding and awareness of broader business challenges.

Exhibit strategic thinking and a global perspective, coupled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, to excel in complex situations at a tactical level. Proven ability to build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team of consultants and analysts.

Interact effectively with regulatory agencies (FDA / EMA) and key opinion leaders to enhance development plans.

Show a collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit with a self-motivated approach, thriving in the dynamic environment of high-growth companies.

Minimum of a Master's in Mathematics, Biostatistics, or a related field; an MBA, MD, PhD, or another advanced degree is highly desirable; with 15+ years of experience in consulting, clinical trials, or health research.
