Cardiologist (Non‑Invasive) Position – Gainesville, FL

Full‑time BC / BE Noninvasive Cardiologist. Dual appointment with UF and VA, primarily based at the VA Gainesville Medical Center. The VA facility is a 240‑bed tertiary referral center with comprehensive cardiovascular services including on‑site cardiothoracic surgery, interventional and structural procedures, electrophysiology, advanced imaging, and cardiac imaging interpretation. You will manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, supervise and teach fellows, advanced practice providers and residents, and participate in clinical trials and research. VA night, weekend, and Coronary Care Unit duties are shared among cardiology faculty. Candidates with interest in the VA heart failure group are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular patients.
• Interpret ECGs, exercise and pharmacologic stress tests, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, and ambulatory cardiac monitors.
• Supervise and teach general cardiology fellows, advanced practice providers, and medical residents.
• Participate in advanced cardiac imaging interpretation, clinical trials, and research activities.
• Provide shared night, weekend, and Coronary Care Unit coverage with VA cardiology faculty.
