The Lab Chemist Intern will work as part of a lab team in Trevose, PA. The primary goal is to generate application data to develop guidelines for new R&D projects in cooling, boiler, or wastewater. Location : This role is based out of the Trevose, PA laboratory Essential Responsibilities : In consultation with a WTS Researcher, execute on a program to investigate a specific customer or technology development challenge Conduct experiments to generate data Review data with WTS Researcher and design next step experiemnts Document and present results of the project at the completion of the internship Qualifications Qualifications / Requirements : Undergrad pursuing degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or equivalent with 2-3 years of college chemistry lab experience Familiarity with basic wet chemistry and analytical techniques Ability to work independently in a lab environment with other team members Self-motivated and a team player Demonstrated dedication to lab safety Effective problem-solving skills An accomplished communicator, able to produce quality technical reports and documents Additional Information Compensation : The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range : $21-24 / hr.
