ISG is hiring a Civil Construction Engineer to join our Transportation and Public Works teams to enhance our expanding construction inspection, management, and administration services. Our Transportation and Public Works teams serve MnDOT, County, and City clients throughout Minnesota and are comprised of folks in our Bloomington and St. Louis Park offices. We are a full-service, multi-disciplinary team, who perform award winning work in planning, design, survey, and construction.

Location : Bloomington, MN
Compensation : $20.00 - $50.00 / hour
Responsibilities
- Management of MnDOT, County, and City transportation construction projects
- Conduct professional meetings including pre-construction, public information and weekly construction meetings
- Perform civil engineering calculations; prepare engineering plans, designs and reports and construction oversight including inspection when needed
- Serve as a liaison with clients, government and regulatory authorities and contractors
- Deliver project documents within prescribed budgetary and time constraints while satisfying client requirements
- Develop and enhance client relationships and business growth
- Prioritize overall project management and ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring of project team members including other engineers and technical support staff
- Assist with functional and detailed design of transportation and municipal infrastructure projects when in the office
- Contract administration of municipal projects
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience with WisDOT standards and Civil 3D is a plus, but not requiredTechnical proficiency, problem-solving ability, and collaborative mindsetDegree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience; able to lead projects independently and contribute to team growthProven track record and solid referencesField-based role involves travel to job sites; valid drivers license and clean driving record requiredEmployee ownership environment; willingness to learn and growBenefits and Status
