The Opportunity
Reporting to executive leadership, the Utility Manager will provide end-to-end oversight of municipal and utility-construction projects throughout Georgia.
This position blends field operations, regulatory coordination, and stakeholder relationship management—serving as the central link between crews, municipalities, and leadership to ensure every project is executed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Direct all aspects of natural-gas pipeline and utility-installation projects from mobilization through close-out.
Manage field teams, subcontractors, and inspectors while sustaining a culture of safety and accountability.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with municipal authorities, inspectors, and client partners.
Oversee project scheduling, cost controls, materials management, and compliance documentation.
Interpret engineering plans, permits, and specifications; ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to foremen and site supervisors.
Collaborate with senior leadership on bid strategy, resource planning, and operational improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Licensed Utility Manager (Georgia license or reciprocity required).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in utility-construction or pipeline-operations management.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with municipalities.
Highly organized; able to balance field performance with documentation and reporting.
Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and independent initiative.
Comfortable in a hybrid rhythm — field / home / city — with travel across Georgia as required.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary : $100,000 – $130,000 (Commensurate with experience)
