Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dentist to join our fast-paced office offering a variety of dental procedures. You should have the experience, current licensure in good standing, and effective communication skills. Responsibilities
- Conduct work that is compliant with office policies and procedures; safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines; and infection and infectious diseases control standards
- Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene
- Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated
- Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate
- Supervise dental assistants, dental hygienists, associate dentists, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans
Qualifications
Strong bedside manner and great communication skills are necessaryDDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor's degree are requiredBoard Certified and / or Board Eligible in DentistryA minimum of two years of dentistry experience in clinical or private practice is requiredRelevant knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is an asset
