Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW :

Join our dedicated Coding Department as a Coding Supervisor, where you will play a critical role in supporting our Coding Manager. This position is focused on enhancing daily operations, managing work assignments, overseeing timekeeping, and supervising the coding team. Your expertise will be invaluable as you analyze coding data, provide quality reports, and offer improvement recommendations across all service lines. You will identify workflow challenges, address training needs, and lead special projects while ensuring effective communication with management to quickly resolve coding or technical issues. Collaborating closely with the Coding Manager, you will monitor and optimize staff productivity to boost revenue cycle performance. Cultivating a positive team environment is essential in this role.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Supervise and mentor coding staff, provide training for new employees, and guide them in meeting workload goals and performance standards. (25%)
• Assist the coding manager with scheduling, payroll, workload assignments, and physician education initiatives. (25%)
• Provide production coding support as needed. (20%)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate on effective action plans to rectify coding errors. (10%)
• Organize and oversee special projects to ensure timely and accurate completion. (10%)
• Identify and monitor workflow barriers while implementing process improvements for successful problem resolution. (10%)
• Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Pay Range Minimum : $30.10

Pay Range Maximum : $46.65

The base pay is determined by various factors including qualifications, experience, and contributions, as well as internal and market considerations. The salary range displayed does not include geographic differentials.
