Landscapes Golf Management and Palm Cove Golf are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our bar . The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service maintain high standards of quality and manage a team of bartenders to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. JOB SUMMARY
Oversees bar staff and attends to the service needs of Palm Cove members and their guests in the bar area including food and beverage service. Maintains the stock and cleanliness of the bar area.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Oversees bar staff and servers assists with scheduling training assigning and directing work provides support when dealing with difficult customers.
- Ensures all Local and Federal alcohol and tobacco laws are adhered to.
- Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to bar patrons. Utilizes drink measures and proper pours. Collects payment for beverages served and accurately records transaction.
- Takes food orders records food orders into register system and delivers orders to bar patrons.
- Maintains the stock in the bar and the cleanliness of the area. Arranges bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
- Cleans glasses utensils and bar equipment per company guidelines and health department requirements.
- Communicates low stock items to the food and beverage manager as appropriate.
- Performs routine bar maintenance and arranges for repair of equipment if necessary through company management.
- Performs closing and duty lists as needed.
- Attempt to limit problems and liability related to excessing drinking by following company procedures.
- Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the club by being service and solution-oriented having positive interactions with all club staff and members / guests and meeting established quality service and safety expectations.
- Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
- Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.
