We are seeking a Product Architect Opcenter Discrete to join our team.

This role will involve leading end-to-end MES (Manufacturing Execution System) implementations on Siemens Opcenter Discrete , providing technical and functional guidance, solution design, and integration across complex manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in Opcenter Discrete, MES architecture, solution integration, and discrete manufacturing processes , with a passion for digital manufacturing innovation in aerospace and complex assembly industries .

Job Description :

Trilyon is hiring a Product Architect Opcenter Discrete to drive MES implementations and enhancements across discrete manufacturing sites. The Product Architect Opcenter Discrete will collaborate with customer stakeholders, development teams, and cross-functional business teams to design, implement, and optimize Opcenter Discrete solutions . This role requires hands-on experience in discrete manufacturing operations, Opcenter Execution modules, integration patterns, and MES upgrades.

The Product Architect Opcenter Discrete will act as a technical and functional mentor , ensuring adherence to best practices, guiding coding efforts, and validating deliverables in line with business objectives. The Product Architect Opcenter Discrete will provide leadership for project execution, team development, and solution governance.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead end-to-end implementation of Siemens Opcenter Discrete solutions for manufacturing plants.

Conduct techno-functional analysis, fit-gap assessment, and solution blueprinting .

Provide product and technical guidance on Opcenter modules, including EX FN, APS, MOM Connect, IPL, Tableau, and Mendix.

Manage MES upgrade projects and ensure seamless integration with ERP, PLM, equipment, and HMI systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement integration requirements using APIs, middleware, messaging queues, and enterprise patterns.

Translate business requirements into actionable development plans, including coding within Opcenter discrete modules.

Mentor and train team members on MES processes, Opcenter modules, and solution best practices.

Ensure quality and compliance of deliverables by coordinating with assurance and governance teams.

Act as a liaison between manufacturing sites and product teams, contextualizing shop floor operations and supporting digital manufacturing initiatives.

Identify continuous process improvement opportunities and support enterprise-level digital transformation efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Hands-on experience in Opcenter Discrete MES implementation (NOT general discrete environment experience).

Strong understanding of MES lifecycle and Opcenter Execution Discrete solution architecture .

Expertise in discrete business processes , closed-loop manufacturing, and complex assembly manufacturing.

Experience with Opcenter modules, MES integration, and solution architecture .

Strong background in APIs, middleware, messaging queues, enterprise integration patterns, and SQL .

Familiarity with OPC-UA, PLC-SCADA interfacing , and MES upgrade projects.

Experience with Agile methodology and MES governance processes.

Domain experience in manufacturing , preferably aerospace or high-complexity assembly.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of Opcenter customization and extensions .

Experience with Tableau and Mendix in MES environments.

Exposure to digital manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement in MES operations.
