Job Summary / Purpose

The AI Director of Strategy and Performance is responsible for driving enterprise alignment, operational discipline, and strategic execution across the organization. The role oversees the development of long‑term strategy, ensures robust governance of key initiatives, and establishes performance frameworks that measure and accelerate progress toward Path to Premier goals.

The Director will guide the organization’s strategic plan, translate strategic priorities into actionable initiatives, and facilitate portfolio prioritization and scenario planning.

They will design an enterprise governance framework and oversee an AI Governance Committee focused on ethical deployment of AI solutions.

In addition, the Director will create performance dashboards, report to senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement and strategic enablement.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational leadership to the Strategy and Performance team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Develop and implement governance standards, policies, and processes to ensure AI solutions generate strategic business value while managing risks and complying with legal, ethical, and responsible AI regulations.
• Lead strategic direction for the AI department’s Governance, PMO, Education and Enablement, Communication, and Change Management teams.
• Oversee change management activities, including developing comprehensive change plans, facilitating integration of new tools, reimagining roles, and providing communication, training, and coaching support.
• Monitor and report metrics and compliance with established AI and data governance standards and policies. Drive financial management for the AI organization.
• Partner with AI leadership to drive Path to Premier progress and achievement of aspirations.

Office environment with minimal physical requirements. Employees may be required to work additional hours, alternate locations, or perform additional duties in connection with storms, outages, emergencies, or other events. Exempt employees may not be paid overtime for such duties.
