Facilities Technician - Salt Lake City, UT

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is seeking a resource for a 3-month contract position with the potential for a contract extension or conversion. Compensation : $21.00 per hour Facilities Technician is to provide general maintenance support for 2 buildings 7 miles apart. Job Responsibilities : Monitor the facility to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Maintain general & preventative maintenance, painting, carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. Will be securing / anchoring things and furniture to the floor. Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials, as requested. Basic ability to work independently and manage their time. Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance. Required Qualifications : High school diploma or GED required. 1+ years facility maintenance experience required Basic manual labor knowledge Building Maintenance experience (painting, Plumbing, electrical. Carpentry) 1+ year of HVAC experience Communication Skills Word and Excel knowledge (very important) Only candidates available and ready to work directly as New Journey / Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
