Job description13-bed, Freestanding ED facility 21,000 annual visits Mid-high acuity 24 hours of physician and 12 hours of APC coverage daily with 12-hour shifts Laboratory and imaging services on-site with imaging available : MRI, 64-slice CT, X-Ray, digital mammography, echocardiogram, and bone density scanner EPIC EMR Competitive 1099 compensation package including enhanced sign-on for part-time and full-time physicians A network of thousands of clinicians nationwide promoting collaboration and communication Team of collegiate physicians and experienced APCs Access to professional development tools, educational resources and CME through the TeamHealth Institute AHRQ listed Patient Safety Organization Outstanding area public and private schools; high test scores Small-town comforts with easy proximity to metropolitan cities (1 hour drive from Dallas) Outstanding area public schools Affordable housing and low cost of living Various lifestyle choices for living; lakefront, historical homes, or suburban, all within minutes from the clinic / hospital No state income tax
TeamHealth currently has full-time, part-time and PRN openings for an emergency medicine (EM) physician in sunny UT Health Cedar Creek Lake in Gun Barrel City, Texas. Located just an hour from the urban amenities of Dallas, this area offers lakefront living at its best!
Qualified candidates must be board certified / board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) or internal medicine (IM) / family practice (FM) with emergency medicine experience.
