Base pay range

$132,900.00 / yr — $174,450.00 / yr

Location

United States – any location within the U.S. Candidates near a Jacobs U.S. based office are preferred.

Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Advanced Manufacturing group. You will work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks and meeting client expectations for scope, budget, and schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Site development, site master planning, and site selection.
  • Underground utility routing and site space planning.
  • Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems.
  • Designing gravitational wastewater systems.
  • Perform final grading plans, cut and fill analysis, and earthwork balancing.
  • Provide erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans, and support permit approval.
  • Research and adhere to local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
  • Stormwater analysis and modeling in software applications such as StormCAD and CivilStorm.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 8 or more years of engineering experience, including extensive related project experience.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large-scale industrial developments.
  • Demonstrated experience with all design modules of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Displayed ability to learn quickly and a drive to broaden knowledge base.
  • Preferred qualifications

  • PE certification.
  • Bluebeam experience.
  • Experience using Navisworks.
