Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

BlazerJobs is actively hiring experienced Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teachers for full-time, school-based positions in Lakeville, MN. These roles support preschool-aged students with developmental delays or disabilities for the 20252026 school year. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, inclusive environment focused on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

Position Details

Location : Lakeville, MN

Schedule : MondayFriday | Full-Time | 8 : 00 a.m.4 : 00 p.m. | ASAP 6 / 11 / 2026

Hours : 37.5 per week

Classroom / Caseload Type : Preschool / Early Childhood Special Education

Student Caseload : Small-group inclusion and transition classes

Number of Positions : 2+

Daily Schedule :

AM : 2 days Transition class (students newly turning 3 throughout the year), 2 days Resource class

PM : Small-group inclusion class

Typical Job Duties

Provide specialized instruction and early intervention services to preschool-aged children with developmental delays or disabilities

Develop and implement IEPs / IFSPs, track student progress, and adjust instruction based on student needs

Collaborate with general education staff, paraprofessionals, and related service providers (OT, PT, Speech, Psych) to support inclusive environments

Partner with families to promote student development across social, communication, and cognitive domains

Create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

Active Minnesota ECSE teaching license

Experience with early intervention and inclusive preschool instruction preferred

Strong communication, organization, and professional skills
