Experienced Family Law Associate Attorney

We are searching for an attorney who can hit the ground running and provide great representation to clients. You must show compassion and the capacity to create relationships with clientele. This is a position for an experienced attorney who is capable, knowledgeable, and confident in handling a workload with relative autonomy while working with a great legal team.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and skill and is negotiable. The salary plan comprises a base wage as well as bonuses for output and performance. We provide competitive benefits. We also pay for continuing legal education, bar dues, and agreed voluntary bar memberships.

• Strong knowledge of laws and procedures to perform legal research and develop a case strategy
• The ability to project confidence and competence while representing clients in the courtroom
• Punctual and reliable with a strong commitment to character, integrity, and work ethic
• The ability and flexibility necessary to work at a growing firm
• Exceptional communication skills are needed to work with all levels of staff and clients

$90,000 - $160,000 yearly

• Meet or succeed key performance indicators designed for the position
• Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their work while taking full ownership for the outcome and all deadlines
• Conduct client meetings to recommend strategies on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, depositions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
• Maintain an accurate record of the time and value you gave clients so you can analyze what worked and what didn't, as well as what you could do better in the future

• Must have a proven track record of experience practicing as an attorney
• Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills are needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
• Awareness and understanding of the criteria for privacy and confidentiality requirements
• Licensed and in good standing with the WSBA
• Ability to attend court and meetings in person in Snohomish, King & Pierce Counties
