Internal Medicine opening in Oregon
Successful completion of residency training in an ACGME accredited Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency program. License / Certification : MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners; Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from American Heart Association; Board Certified / Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties; Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges; Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs; Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage. Experience : Advanced analytical skills regarding evaluation and treatment; ability to use professional approach to problem solving during stressful situations; communication with others that reflects a positive attitude and enthusiasm; and behavior that exemplifies organizational philosophy.OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS : Year 1 Base salary of $255,000 Years 2 & beyond Eligible for annual quality performance incentives of up to $40,000 Additional productivity compensation available based on performance $50,000 signing bonus $15,000 relocation assistance Stipend available for those in their last year of residency $5,000 annual CME allowance 240 hours of authorized time off per year Excellent health, dental, vision, and retirement benefitsExcellent weather, a lovely community, a welcoming medical staff, wonderful schools, great outdoor recreational opportunities, and a balance of work and personal life are some of the benefits of this position.
