Location : El Paso, TX 79925 (Texas nursing jobs)

Facility : Level 2 Trauma Center with 10 Operating Rooms and 2 Endoscopy Suites

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025

End Date : 2 / 16 / 2026

Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800

On-Call : Required (weekends and nights rotation)

Weekend Requirement : Approximately 4 shifts per month

Dress Code : Hospital-provided scrubs

EMR System : MediTech

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience in a Level 2 Trauma Center

Clinical experience with robotics, neuro, orthopedic, urology, and vascular surgical procedures

Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical support skills

Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment and take initiative

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, prioritizing patient safety and quality outcomes

Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures, including robotics, neuro, ortho, urology, vascular, and exploratory laparotomies

Document patient care accurately using MediTech EMR

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team

Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency cases

Ensure efficient room turnover and adherence to hospital policies

Demonstrate professionalism and uphold the highest standards of nursing care
