Requirements & Key Responsibilities for HHA / PCA :
- Must hold a valid New York State HHA or PCA Certificate
- Limited availability for sponsored certification courses
- Ability to fulfill New York state credentialing requirements for HHA or PCA roles
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare meals based on dietary restrictions and personal preferences
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help clients with daily living activities
- Show a genuine interest in working with clients from various backgrounds and with disabilities
