Location : Minneapolis, MN

Shift : 4x10-Hour Days (07 : 00 – 17 : 30), Monday–Friday

Facility Type : Short-Term Acute Care | Magnet Designation | Teaching Hospital | Level III Trauma Center

Total Staffed Beds : 672

Position Overview : A leading healthcare facility in Minneapolis is seeking a qualified Cath Lab Technologist for a full-time day shift assignment. This role requires hands-on experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with responsibilities including scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating in the Cath Lab. Candidates must meet all listed requirements to be considered.

Minimum Requirements :

  • 1–2 years of Cath Lab experience
  • First-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience in scrubbing and monitoring
  • ACLS and BLS certifications required
  • Experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab settings
  • Proficiency in procedures including :

    • Cardiac Stent Placement

  • Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
  • Hemodynamic Monitoring
  • IABP Placement / Removal
  • Interpretation of Dysrhythmias
  • Left and Right Heart Catheterization
  • PCI and PTCA
  • Pulmonary Artery Line Insertion
  • Scrub Procedures and Temporary Pacemaker
  • Procedural responsibilities include :

    • Accurate Monitoring

  • Equipment Setup
  • EKG Lead Placement
  • Access Site Preparation
  • Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias
  • Room Circulation and Sterile Field Maintenance
  • Vascular Closure Systems

    • Additional Details :

  • On-call required approximately one day per week and every 4th–5th weekend (including occasional Sundays)
  • Floating within scope to meet facility needs
  • Block scheduling not available
  • Locals accepted
  • Pending licenses accepted
  • RTO ideally limited to 5 days
  • Guaranteed hours subject to cancellation of up to 3 shifts per assignment without penalty
  • On-call hours do not count toward guaranteed minimum hours
  • Scrubs provided by unit
  • Charting system : Excellian / Epic
  • Parking : $0.55 / hour for all shifts

    • Certifications : Certifications marked with
