Piping Technology and Products, Inc. started in 1978 and is one of the largest privately-owned pipe support manufactures. Key products are spring pipe hangers, pipe shoes, fabric expansion joints, and pressure vessels. We are looking to fill a Junior Buyer position to help source raw materials and supplies for manufacturing.

Job Description

A Steel Manufacturing Buyer job involves sourcing and procuring steel materials, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely delivery, and monitoring inventory to support production, while also analyzing market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Work environment will be in a shop office and the buyer must be able to handle a fast-paced work load. Attire is casual to business casual. Working hours are Monday thru Friday from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00pm and some Saturdays.
