We're Hiring!

We are seeking an Advocate to join our team. This full-time position is responsible for providing direct services to victims including crisis counseling, advocacy, and support by delivering service that is trauma-informed, culturally competent, strength-based, and client directed.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer crisis lines and respond to crisis situations as well as provide information and referral services.
• Provide advocacy and supportive counseling to victims and their families, both on the crisis line and face-to-face as requested by the client.
• Perform daily review of cases and follow-up with Center staff and advocates to ensure that appropriate client follow-up is occurring as well as necessary documentation.
• Facilitate Sexual Assault Survivor support groups.
• Assist law enforcement with joint notification of victims as needed.
• Provide legal advocacy by maintaining close contact with District Attorney's Office, Victim Witness Office, and all law enforcement agencies.
• Provide information to sexual assault victims and their families regarding the legal system, Crime Victim's Compensation, and victim's rights.
