NY State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Required

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing health care to students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities include :

• medication administration per doctor's orders.
• completing medical procedures related to diagnosis following doctors orders.
• assessing illness and injuries and providing care accordingly.
• developing health care plans.
• responding to medical emergencies that occur within the building for students, staff and visitors.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Applicants require strong knowledge of nursing principles, skills and techniques.
