Speech Language Pathologist- Home Health

Job Summary :

Lorian Health is seeking a passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team dedicated to setting the highest quality standards for home-health services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and effective speech therapy services to patients in various settings, including inpatient, schools, hospitals, and acute care facilities.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
• Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to improve patients‘ communication and swallowing abilities
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Administer standardized testing to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Engage in case management to coordinate patient services effectively

Requirements :

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

Experience in inpatient, school, hospital, or acute care settings preferred

Strong knowledge of physiology related to speech and swallowing functions

Proficiency in conducting standardized testing for speech and language disorders

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams
