Position Title : Regional Manager Affordable Housing

Position Summary :

The Regional Manager oversees the operational, financial, and compliance performance of a portfolio of 68 affordable housing communities across East Tennessee. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with Section 8, LIHTC, and other regulatory housing program requirements. The Regional Manager provides leadership and guidance to on-site teams, fostering a culture of accountability, customer service, and excellence. Key objectives include maximizing property performance, maintaining high resident satisfaction, and ensuring all communities meet company standards and regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily operations of multiple affordable housing communities within the assigned region.
• Ensure compliance with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, and other federal, state, and local housing regulations.
• Monitor occupancy levels, financial performance, and property maintenance to achieve budget and compliance targets.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to assess property conditions and team performance.
• Support and train property managers and leasing staff on compliance, customer service, and operational standards.
• Review and approve budgets, financial reports, and rent adjustments in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with accounting, compliance, and development teams to resolve audit findings and reporting issues.
• Lead onboarding, and performance management for site-level employees.
• Serve as liaison with regulatory agencies, investors, and community partners.
