Exceptional Needs Education Teacher – K–2 Self-Contained (Autism Support)

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a supportive Illinois district to welcome a Special Education Teacher to lead a self-contained K–2 classroom serving students with autism and other low-incidence disabilities. This full-time role for the 2025–2026 school year offers an incredible opportunity to shape young learners’ communication, social, and academic development in a structured, nurturing environment.

Position Highlights :

• Provide direct instruction and interventions for a caseload of up to 10 students.
• Adapt lessons to meet IEP goals while maintaining alignment with district standards.
• Track progress through accurate documentation and ensure full compliance with IEP requirements.
• Work across no more than two grade levels, ensuring concentrated support and effective teaching.
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and service providers to support consistent learning outcomes.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates should have proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or in a closely related position, along with a strong background in working with children who have a wide range of disabilities. An active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a special education (LBS1) endorsement is required. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is necessary, while a master’s degree is highly preferred.
