  • Unit Summary :

    We’re excited to announce that Clark Regional Medical Center has recently expanded its Intensive Care Unit (ICU), increasing capacity by 75% with six new beds. This expansion also includes an advanced care unit (ACU) and space for a new surgical suite, allowing us to meet the growing needs of our community.

    Position Summary :

    As a Clinical Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in patient care while also coordinating personnel and resources. You will be the bridge between nursing and ancillary departments, ensuring :

  • Continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes
  • Patient satisfaction and cost efficiency
  • Compliance with healthcare standards
  • Your responsibilities will include :

  • Implementing care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments
  • Documenting patient care
  • Monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team
  • Assisting patients with daily living activities
  • Collaborating across disciplines for comprehensive patient care
  • Evaluating and addressing patient and family education needs
  • Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (required)
  • KY RN state licensure or compact licensure (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 10 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 45 days of hire
  • Handle With Care training within 30 days of hire
