• Summary :

The Senior Developer’s role is to maintain software applications and ensure business requirements are met through constant analysis, testing, and development of software applications using a high level of skill with WebRTC, TypeScript, Database Management, Javascript, Networking, DevOps, Media Servers, AWS, and Communications Protocols.

• Position Type :

This is a full-time position direct hire; 40 hour minimum, with the expectation to maintain a regular work schedule onsite in Wixom. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Requirements

• Actively develop project WebRTC APIs.
• Collaborate with developers, programmers, engineers and designers in conceptualization and
• development of new software programs and applications.
• Analyze and assess existing business systems and procedures.
• Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
• Liaise with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems.
• Design, run, and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the
• purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
• Administer critical analysis of test results and deliver solutions to problem areas.
• Develop and maintain user manuals and guidelines.
• Manage and / or provide guidance to junior team members.

• WebRTC APIs
• Front-end development languages : HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Angular
• Backend development
• Networking : TCP, UDP, HTTP, WebSocket and anything in-between these concepts
• Codecs and media processing
• Server-side media processing
• Troubleshooting and monitoring tools to include, at a minimum, how to read WebRTC-internals dump files and understand ICE failures
• Familiarity with common WebRTC frameworks
• Required Education and Experience :
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years’ experience with same or similar job duties.
• Preferred Education and Experience :
• Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of experience.
• 7-10+ years’ experience with similar job duties.
• iOS or Android native development experience.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
