What You'll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address situations appropriately. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and monitor for unusual circumstances. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment. Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or patients to address questions and provide assistance as required. Document incidents and observations accurately according to Allied Universal protocols and site-specific requirements. Collaborate with emergency services and law enforcement when necessary to support incident response and resolution. Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or adult corrections experience. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
