Staff Accountant

We are partnered with a growing real estate company in Broward County that is looking for a Staff Accountant . This is an outstanding business that is growing at a strong rate and offers an excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates to grow organically with an organization and be exposed to many different functions as they develop.

Salary / Hourly Rate :

$60k - $70k

Position Overview :

The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. There is also an opportunity to be exposed to some financial planning and analysis when working closely with the company’s manager.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant :

• Perform general accounting duties.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing as needed.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries.
• Handle billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements.
• Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
