Job Summary

The Sr. Manager- Safety Systems Mgt will assist the VP- Safety in leading the implementation and enhancement of our Safety Management System while driving cultural transformation through collaborative engagement and continuous improvement. This role is critical in establishing safety as our foundational value through systematic approaches, employee involvement, and data-driven decision making. This role will execute change management strategies to shift organizational mindset from compliance-based to value-based safety practices.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive Safety Management System components including safety initiatives, programs, risk assessment protocols, and control measures.
• Monitor key safety performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure SMS effectiveness.
• Create and implement audit programs to evaluate SMS effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
