Locums - General Cardiology Job - Prescott, Arizona (IMLC Accepted)

Schedule & Setting :

Monday-Friday, 7 : 00a-5 : 00p

Saturday / Sunday : 24-hour call coverage

Outpatient clinic, inpatient consults, and study reading (inpatient and outpatient)

Hospital-based with clinic support staff

Clinical Details :

Patient population : Primarily 65+

Daily census : 11-12 patients (reduced to 7-8 on call days)

Procedures : 5-10 non-invasive per day in hospital; invasive procedures as needed

Services : Inpatient rounding, consultations, ECG / ECHO / nuclear study interpretation

Reason for coverage : Additional locum to help cover the inpatient service

Requirements :

Board Certified - Required

Active Arizona License - IMLC accepted

FTE : 1.0

EMR : Cerner

Call : Typically 1 weekday

Every 5th weekend rotation
