Specialist I – Alternatives Financial Reporting (REMOTE)

What you will do

  • Execute applicable quality controls and prepare annual, quarterly, and other financial statements for clients, supporting internal and external reviews and related work papers.
  • Manage communications with fund accounting teams, internal technology teams, vendors, clients, and external auditors to ensure timely approval of financial statements and resolve reporting and systems issues.
  • Participate in IMS and corporate professional development sessions, identifying process improvements and collaborating across the division to grow your career.

What we need from you

  • BA / BS in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the mutual fund or alternative investment funds industry.
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and strong accounting skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Self‑motivation and drive to manage multiple client deliverables with accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
  • Willingness to execute upon process changes and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and internal contact via email and phone.
  • Excellent organization and customer service skills for daily client interaction.

  • Compensation

    The base salary for this position is $67,000 / yr – $72,000 / yr.
