  • Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm\n
  • Shift : 8-hour days, with call 10-11 days / month\n
  • Hours per Week : 40\n
  • Number of Positions : 1\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $2340-$2510\n

    • \n\nElectrophysiology Technologist Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Electrophysiology Technologist or in electrophysiology\n
  • Experience in a Cath Lab or special procedure area preferred\n
  • High school diploma or equivalent required\n
  • Completion of a two-year radiology program\n
  • Registered by ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and / or RCIS certification\n
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required\n
  • Basic computer skills; EPIC experience preferred\n
  • Travel candidates only (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Mechanicsville, VA)\n

    • \n\nEP Tech Responsibilities\n \n

  • Serve as scrub tech, circulator, or monitor for electrophysiology procedures under Cardiologist supervision\n
  • Support image acquisition, image processing, physiologic and hemodynamic data acquisition, and EP or 3D mapping during invasive procedures\n
  • Assist physician operator and invasive team before, during, and after procedures\n
  • Provide patient management support and emotional care to patients and families\n
  • Prepare, maintain, and ensure proper functioning of equipment for procedures\n
  • Initiate and assist in resuscitative efforts during cardiac emergencies\n
  • Stay updated on cardiovascular technology through ongoing education\n
  • Recover patients post-procedure, monitor vital signs, and ensure safe hemostasis\n
  • Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab\n
  • Perform basic secretarial duties, schedule procedures, and restock rooms\n
  • Accept temporary reassignment to other areas or shifts as needed\n
  • Follow universal precautions and infection control policies\n
