Job Description & Requirements Specialty : LDRP - Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 18 / 2025 Duration : 52 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Per Diem Labor and Delivery Nurse (Nights) Job Description : We are seeking dedicated and experienced Labor and Delivery Nurses to join our team on a per diem basis for night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. Key Responsibilities : - Provide high-quality nursing care and support to laboring patients and their families during delivery. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and infants. - Monitor patients’ vital signs, manage pain, and administer medications as necessary. - Assess labor progression and communicate effectively with physicians and staff. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records. Qualifications : - Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience. - Preferred experience in Labor and Delivery plus Mother-Baby care (not required). - Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and NRP. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment : - Minimum of 4 shifts per month with the possibility to pick up additional shifts. - Must have weekend availability; candidates who cannot work occasional weekends will not be considered.
