Job description

Academic Health System is seeking a BC / BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join the Division of Gastroenterology in the Department of Pediatrics.

Key Details :

Position Type : Full-time, Academic Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Rank : Assistant or Associate Professor
Certification : BC / BE in Pediatric Gastroenterology
Licensing : Must qualify for a Louisiana license

Facility Highlights :

Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (40-bed unit)

23 pediatric beds and 8-bed pediatric intensive care unit

Affiliation with St. Jude Children s Research Hospital

Children s Clinical Research Center with a 3-bed clinical trial unit and laboratory supporting 10-12 NIH and Pharma-sponsored trials annually

Home to Schools of Medicine, Graduate Studies, and Allied Health Professions with over 800 enrolled students and nearly 600 residents / fellows trained annually

Collaborative, multidisciplinary care team with physician leadership involvement

Use of EPIC medical record system
