Gastroenterology Physician

Job Summary and Responsibilities This position will be based at our St. Anthony clinic with coverage opportunities at St. Anthony North and our Longmont Clinic. We are looking for exceptional GI Physicians to help build our newly formed group in the Denver Metro area. We have multiple positions and are open to entry level, advanced GI, leadership and more. As an Interventional Gastroenterologist (GI) with us, you will receive : Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including, but not limited to : Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), including post-liver transplant procedures Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) with fine-needle aspiration / biopsy Complex Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) Deep enteroscopy Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) Peroral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM) Bariatric endoscopy Stenting Provide high-level, comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care and consultations for patients with complex GI disorders. Participate in the division's academic mission by teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and medical students. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Participate in divisional conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and other service-related responsibilities. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following : Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty. Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency ("DEA") registration; Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital; Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution Doctorate MD or DO required DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in applicable state required Completion of a one-year Advanced Endoscopy or Therapeutic Endoscopy fellowship.
