Salary:
$145k - $165k+ commesurate with experience and annual billables bonus of up to $50k in bonuses + fully comprehensive benefits, healthcare coverage, PTO.

The practice centers on insurance, reinsurance, and various other matters spanning across transactional & regulatory compliance servicing sophisticated and bespoke institutional clients.
About the Role:
Handle complex insurance coverage litigation, including commercial first‑party insurance, reinsurance, third‑party liability, professional liability, and bad faith coverage disputes.
Take ownership of motion practice, coverage opinions, discovery, and client communications as part of a collaborative team in a nationally prominent practice.
Requirements:
JD from an accredited law school and above-average academic credentials.
Admission to practice law within the state of New York.
At least 3 years of experience in the private practice of law.
Working experience providing legal defense in complex and high-stakes insurance claims and related matters.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Admission to multiple U.S. jursidictions (i.e. NY & NJ).
Litigation experience handling insurance coverage matters, with substantial experience in all phases of litigation from pre-litigation management through motion practice and settlement or trial phase.
Superb legal writing skill and forensic legal analysis and research proficieny.
