  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Three shifts per week (3X12S DAYS)

    • \n

  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week

    • \n

  • Patient ratio typically 4 : 1 based on acuity

    • \n

  • Every other weekend requirement

    • \n

  • 3 years of experience required (will screen for less experience)

    • \n

  • First-time travelers accepted

    • \n

  • 24 hours of orientation

    • \n

  • No on-call or floating requirements

    • \n

  • Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid compact license required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS

    • \n

  • Preferred certifications : TNCC

    • \n

  • Cerner charting experience required

    • \n

  • Travel experience required

    • \n

  • Level I trauma experience required

    • \n

  • Must have pediatric emergency department skills (hard stop)

    • \n

  • RNs can wear any scrub color

    • \n

  • Care for patients of all ages from neonates to geriatrics

    • \n

  • Work in 36-bed emergency department with daily census of 145

    • \n

  • Must work 2 out of 3 holidays during assignment

    • \n

  • Facility may call off up to 6 times during 13-week assignment

    This is a 268-bed short-term acute care facility that serves as a teaching hospital and Level I trauma center. The emergency department features 36 beds and rooms with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility maintains Magnet designation and utilizes Cerner electronic health records. The organization is committed to quality and patient safety standards with modern equipment and comprehensive emergency care capabilities.
