Description

• Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions focusing on various aspects like communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing.
• Engage in collaborative care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to develop integrated care strategies.
• Educate patients and their family members, empowering them to support progress outside of clinical settings.
• Provide occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity in patients' care.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to professional growth by keeping up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field through continuing education and peer collaboration.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
