About the Client :

This client is a large, veteran owned manufacturing client in Shasta County.

About the Position :

We are seeking experienced welders.

Job Description / Responsibilities :

Preparing metals to be welded :   Cutting, fitting, measuring, prepping

Reading prints and drawings

Quality checks – weld quality and tolerance

Qualifications :

Certifications preferred but long term experience accepted :   SMAW, GMAW, MIG, TIG, or FCAW Welding certificate

Mathematical skills including fractions

Reading tape measure

Forklift / hoist experience preferred

Shift :

4 10-hour shifts per week; 3 day weekends (with Friday as over-time possible)

$18-$25 depending on experience
