Senior Accountant - Tax

A new public accounting firm in Quincy, MA is hiring a Senior Tax Accountant or Supervisor who will be reporting directly into one of the firm's Founders and helping mentor other accountants on the team. Combined the two partners have over 50 years of experience in public accounting, so this is a great opportunity for a Tax Accountant to grow with a company and get additional mentorship! You'll be focused on Individual and Corporate tax returns, doing the preparation work and then reviewing with the partner.

Must Have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Accounting/Tax
• Well versed in MS Office - Especially Excel
• Experienced in tax software, ideally Prosystems fx Tax
• Experience leading a small team

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working directly with clients
• Experience preparing monthly financial statements and other reports
