Job description

Cheeseman Transport is hiring CDL A local flatbed drivers in Pompano Beach, FL. Drivers will be locally delivering forklifts, batteries, tow motors and their parts on flatbed trailers. Compensation

Hourly pay rate : $29- $32
Average hours weekly : 40-50

Overtime pay after 40 hours

Bonuses :

Sign-on bonus : $1,500

Referral bonus : $5,000

Quarterly safety bonus

Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

Home Time : Home daily

Schedule : Monday - Friday

Shift : Starting around7am

Route : Delivering anywhere within a 250 mile radius of Pompano, FL

Level of Touch : Loading & unloading freight, must secure freight

Includes strapping, blocking, and chaining

Equipment

Newer modeltrucks

Automatic transmission

Governed speed : 68mph

ELD equipped using Geotab

Outward facing camera

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Must have CDL A license

Must have 1 year of flatbeddriving experience

Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain within 60 days of employment

No felony in the past 7 years

No alcohol related offense in the past 5 years

Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations

Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen

Hiring Radius : Drivers must live within 40 miles of Pompano, FL
