Job descriptionMinimum of two years of recent field experience. Reliable and self-motivated. Knowledge of practices, methods, and equipment used in HVAC / R installation. Good verbal and written communication skills. Live in the SF Bay Area or be willing to relocate; valid CA driver's license and clean DMV record. Be available to work occasional overtime and emergency service calls. High school education or equivalent, EPA certification, and technical degree or certificate from an accredited institution. Responsibilities
- Perform general service calls (troubleshooting & inspecting, major & minor repairs), maintenance, and some installations.
- Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, gauges, and test instruments.
- Take accurate readings and measurements, calculate BTU loads, and read mechanical plans and schematic drawings (plus).
- Lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and maneuver on job sites.
- Fill out invoices and interact with customers in a courteous manner to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Pass drug test and background check.
