Job descriptionConduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify needs and the necessary level of psychological services. Develop personalized treatment plans through a person-centered approach, helping clients set and achieve goals related to their mental health, relationships, and life challenges. Provide individual, family, and group therapy using effective therapeutic techniques such as active listening and empathic responses. Assist clients in accessing community resources and support networks to foster connection and recovery. Manage transition planning and follow-ups, ensuring comprehensive discharge plans are completed within 14 days. Identify and respond to crisis situations, utilizing accepted intervention methods and coordinating additional services as required. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by your supervisor. Minimum : LLMSW or LLPC Preferred : Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC, LLP, LMSW, LMFT) who can provide therapy services independently Valid Michigan Driver's License required.
The Outpatient Clinical Therapist plays a vital role in the mental health community, providing therapy to individuals, families, and groups in an outpatient setting. This position focuses on addressing and treating various mental health disorders to promote optimal well-being.
