Description

Maternal Fetal Medicine Associates located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is interviewing for a Reception Desk Patient Coordinator for our busy OB-GYN Practice.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for :

• Greets and receives patients / visitors to practice facility.
• Distributes and assures appropriate intake forms are completed properly.
• Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
• Answer telephone calls and forwards messages accordingly.
• Schedules and confirms appointments.
• Enters patient demographic information into database.
• Ensure accuracy when recording patient data.
• Collects on-site payments as necessary. Review patient's account and check for previous balance. Collects any previous balances owed.
• Process referrals to ancillary services (set-up appointments and complete insurance referral forms as needed).
• Demonstrates proficiency with software applications and technology.
