Medical Office Rep - Bardmoor

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Medical Office Rep who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare's top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay's leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

Position Details :

  • Location : Largo, FL
  • Status : Full Time (non-exempt)
  • Shift : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (may vary)

    The Medical Office Rep is responsible for :

  • Supporting the physician's office health care team
  • Greeting and signing in patients
  • Obtaining patient information
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Assisting with patient inquiries
  • May arrange for other procedures
  • Laboratory and consultations with referral doctors
  • Collecting and posting payments
  • Assisting patients with billing questions
  • Ensuring completeness of encounter form prior to patient checkout
  • Sorting and distributing mail
  • Copying medical records

    • Required Education :

  • High School or Equivalent

    • Experience :

  • Required 6 months of healthcare
  • Or 6 months of Customer Service
