Location: Central Park Zoo Department: Admissions Title: Sales Associate Employment Type: Seasonal Pay Rate: $17.00/hour Schedule: Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during school breaks. Schedule varies and is dependent on weather and guest attendance; schedule subject to change and may require late shift hours of up to 11 pm for special programs.

Essential duties may include:

• Handle all in-park ticket & membership sales
• Validate tickets and admit entry into the park and various exhibits/attractions
• Actively promote and inform guests about our diverse assortment of premium products; such as memberships
• Process all transactions through the ticketing point-of-sale system
• Assist with the operation of the Central Park Zoo 4D Theater

Inspect assigned work area prior to and during park hours, looking for safety hazards, facility issues, housekeeping needs, potential injuries, etc. Report issues to supervisor or Area Manager.

Providing superior service to guests, including maintaining general knowledge of park attractions, amenities, and enforcing general park policies

Assisting the team in carrying out any additional operational duties
