Leader Role Description : Youth Leader (Same-Gender Small Group)

The Heart of the Role :

To build intentional, Christ-centered relationships with students of the same gender, helping them feel known, connected, and spiritually nurtured. Through your presence, care, and leadership, students will be invited into authentic community, Scripture engagement, and growth in Christlikeness.

Ministry Department : Student Ministry (Middle School & High School)

Role Type : Volunteer

Primary Responsibilities :

Be Present

Attend Thursday Night Youth Group weekly and engage fully in the program.

Create a Welcoming Environment

Greet and connect with students in your group as they arrive; help them feel seen, safe, and known.

Foster Community

Encourage friendship and belonging among students in your group and across the ministry.

Lead Spiritually

Guide a same-gender small group time through Bible study, prayer, discussion, and reflection on how God is working in their lives.

Support the Ministry Team

Participate in three key leader gatherings throughout the year for training, encouragement, and vision alignment.
